Sales on The Seam decreased

Transactions on the grower-to-business exchange rose to 1,984 bales, compared with 1,950 that traded yesterday. An average price of 54.44 cents per lb was paid, down from the 55.42 cents the previous day. Total sales for the season climbed to 26,985 bales.

Trading on the business-to-business side dropped to 514 bales today. A total of 1,824 bales swapped hands the day before. The average price received was 59.31 cents per lb, against the 60.26 cents paid on Wednesday. The cumulative amount therefore rose to 17,720 bales.
