US export sales and shipments


 

In the week ended March 20, the net upland sales commitment rose by 84,400 running bales, attributed mainly to Pakistan (35,300 bales), Vietnam (18,900), Turkey (16,900), Bangladesh (14,600) and Thailand (9,600). Reductions were noted for China (27,000), Mexico (2,800), El Salvador (100), and Guatemala (100).

Upland shipments were 393,400 running bales, for Vietnam (114,900), Turkey (69,400), Pakistan (68,100), Mexico (23,700), and India (19,400).

The net Pima sales commitment increased by 19,900 running bales, while shipments were 11,900 bales.

For the 2025/26 marketing year, 41,600 running bales of upland cotton were registered, attributed mainly to Malaysia (17,600 bales), Thailand (12,300), Honduras (7,500), Mexico (2,600) and Japan (1,600).
