The China Cotton Index (basis Type 3128B) dropped by 15 yuan to 15,272 yuan per tonne, equivalent to 97.31 US cents per lb. Type 2227B decreased by 13 yuan to 13,506 yuan per tonne (86.05 cents), and Type 2129B was unchanged at 15,579 yuan per tonne (99.26 cents).
