China: State Reserve auction
The quantity offered for sale today was 30,144 tonnes, comprising 23,474 in the first (morning) session, and 6,670 in the second session (all lots subject to sample inspections of quality and colour but not weight, instead of individual bale-by-bale inspection). Of the catalogue, Xinjiang cotton accounted for 20,801 tonnes, and the remainder was from other provinces (9,343 tonnes).
