Zhengzhou cotton futures end with strong gains
Once again, contracts on the Zhengzhou cotton futures market continued to rally, gaining between 465 and 585 yuan per tonne. January was the most traded month, rather than September, and the premium for the former rose by ten, to 140 yuan.
Turnover rose by 346,840 to 1,600,752 contracts (counting both the sale and the purchase). Open interest increased by 15,942, to 711,346. At the close of business, the top 20 brokers were holding 225,813 long positions (14,840) and 248,981 short positions (-9,884).
The certified stock rose by five to 902 lots.
