China: CNCE prices show divergent movements
The first three delivery months on the China National Cotton Exchange (CNCE) showed wide and opposing movements in average prices today, though the volume traded in those months was relatively small. May, which had a somewhat larger turnover, fell sharply, whereas the other two forward months, in which volume was also higher, recorded smaller price movements.
The aggregate quantity traded was 9,700 tonnes. Open interest was decreased by 800 tonnes, to 9,280.
