China: CNCE settles down
Average prices on the China National Cotton Exchange (CNCE) were down across the board. The nearby September and October contracts were down by over 300 yuan, but witnessed negligible volume. The most activity was in the December and January deliveries which were modestly reduced.
Turnover increased by 2,460 tonnes to 19,820. Open interest increased by 20 tonnes to 14,580.
