Today China Cotton Index (Type 328) kept on 19,353 yuan per tonne, or 140.81 US cents per lb. The average price for Type 229 was up by 1 yuan to 20,076 yuan per tonne, or 146.07 cents per lb, and Type 429 was down by 2 yuan to 18,870 yuan per tonne, or 136.57 cents per lb.
